WidgetBucks - A new way to make money through your blog
Jim Krukal emailed me yesterday afternoon to give me a heads up on a brand new site called WidgetBucks. The site is brought to you by the shopping company Mpire.com and the widgets allow you to display targeted advertisements from their store on your blog.
Since the site literally only launched 5 mins ago I am not sure of how much money this site will make you but they claim an impressive $3-$6 CPM (CPM=per 1000 impressions).
Here are the ad sizes they you can currently add to your blog :
- Skyscraper 160×600
- Rectangle 300×250
- Leaderboard 728×90
- Full banner 468×60
- Custom 660×330

Bonuses!
I’m not sure if bloggers will get $3 CPM using WidgetBucks but I definately think it will help a lot of bloggers make some extra cash.
They are currently offering two fantastic bonuses to those who sign up to the site.
- Everyone who signs up gets $25 into their account straight away. This means you only need to make $25 to get $50 sent to your paypal account.
- You get $5 for every new member you refer to WidgetBucks (An example of one of the referral ads is shown on the right)
Overview
Overall Im pretty impressed with what I have seen so far. The control panel is straight forward, you can get paid via check or paypal and the bonuses are very generous.
Time will tell how well the widgets will convert for bloggers but with a $25 sign up bonus, you’d be crazy not to sign up and give it a try. Thanks to Jim Krukal for the heads up on this.

Yes. When you refer a new WidgetBucks user, you will receive a 10 percent referral fee based on the commissions earned by the people you refer. You?ll receive this 10 percent for the full 12 months after the new member joins. Your referral fees will be credited to your account and paid monthly, along with your commission payout. So, if you refer someone, and they make $100 in commissions, we pay you $10; if they make $1,000, we pay you $100. This continues for a whole year on all the commissions they earn.

Many sites I visited they have widgetbucks ads display.
