I definately think making your blog stand out is important. Im looking to get a new theme here soon. I definately think that a little modifying can change an ok theme into a great theme. Im currently considering modifying the <a href="http://www.revolutiontheme.com/" rel="nofollow">Revolution theme</a> from Brian Gardner for Blogging Tips. Although it has been used many times on the web, by changing the colour schemes, adding your own logo etc you can really improve it. With regards to telling readers what your blog is about, I think a logo can do this if done right :) Good post Jason.

I have a website where I sell Hawaii Relaxation DVD's. I am getting small amounts of traffic on it so far but I have only made a single sale off of that site. Luckily the DVD sells fine on Amazon already but I really need to figure out the right formula to captivate people to buy when they see the product. Anyone out there with some advice?
