We all get our inspiration from various sources, whether it be movies and television, or nature and the outdoors. But Patrick Haney’s web design inspiration set on flickr is a resource that I continually come back to, and with over 400 of the web’s most beautifully designed sites it’s not hard to see why. Not only is Patrick not a sausage, he is a good friend of mine from back in the deviantArt days and a respected figure in design circles, so I trust his opinion. Patrick also shares how he captures and maintains his inspiration resource.
Flickr also has a wide variety of groups dedicated to design related topics; from typography to vector art to graffiti.
Where do you find inspiration?

I guess for me my inspiration would be simplicity. To see things in their basic or to break it down to its foundation, that does it for me.

It’s a great set of Web Design’s picture he got there. I find the idea very simple and fascinated at the same time. I catch myself writing article about anything that interest me. The subject come very quick, I let the pictures decide for me what will be the next article.

Thanks for the mention, John. And it’s nice to see that I’m respected by someone at least.
You’d be amazed how many people follow my Flickr set. I started the thing for my own reference, yet it seems like I’m responsible for a lot of people’s inspiration these days. Glad to be of assistance to all of you designers out there!
