Random Blogging Trivia

Did you know that there are more women bloggers as compared to men?

This is just one of the interesting survey results which was featured in the blog, Tech.Blorge.com. 20% of the women respondents revealed that they have visited a blog and in fact have one of their own as opposed to only 14% of the men which revealed the same information. One reason which I could think of is that women are much more expressive in terms of their thoughts and opinions in different matters.

In terms of getting information,
here are the survey results:
65% – opinions
39% – news
38% – entertainment
2% – catch upon news about family and friends

Personally, I would say that gossip a.k.a entertainment would be the first one in my list because the witty remarks in gossip blogs really makes my day. After surveying my favorite gossip blogs, I would go on checking global news and business news. After that, I would go on checking on the rants and raves of my friends (particularly in LiveJournal) so that I would know what they are up to.

Hope you enjoyed the random blogging trivia!

I agree that there are more women bloggers than men and I'm always psyched when I saw a man blogging.

    :p

I seriously doubt this claim, moreover it might also depend country to country. But one thing I am kinda sure, women blogs normally get more traffic from men only rather than women.

yeah in fact all this while i've feeling there are more female bloggers as compared to male. Agree that women/girls are more expressive, particularly in blogging. i've read a lot of female blogs from teens to working mums to dirvorcees/single mums. they talk about on a wider spectrum of topics and issues relating to their personal life, hobbies and family. As for the male bloggers, i found most of them talk nothing but blogs and monetization!
