I saw an ad for the Blog World Expo on Pro Blogger a few days ago. Anyone who’s anyone will be there and with the price of a basic ticket costing only $50, you would be crazy not to go if you are based state side 
The expo will be a great opportunity to not only learn more about blogging, but also to network and meet other bloggers. Not only that, the expo is being held in vegas!!! OK, many of you will not be getting excited by this but I’m a poker player so Vegas is paradise to me. I was there last year and the year before but didn’t make it this year because I was still travelling. I’m going next June with about 10 friends and I’ll probably enter a tournament at the WSOP but this expo is a great excuse for me to hit vegas before then. Two birds, one stone (don’t worry, I don’t actually throw stones at birds!).
The expo is on November 8th and 9th. If you can attend, make a point of emailing me before hand and we can arrange to have a few beers:)

As much as I'd love to be there later this year, I've booked a trip to India so am heading in the opposite direction.
How good would it be to meet those people you list though!
I don't think I can travel over to the US again without taking my wife along, so that would be $5000 just for the flights.
I really can't justify the trip currently.
If I had something to promote it would be more worthwhile… we will have to see…
This is always one of the drawbacks of living in the UK…
it was on my list however I'm giving a seminar conference in CA a few days before and it's just not going to happen.

this is the first I've head of it, off to check it out, I have no idea at the moment if I'd be there or not, if so it would be my first conference.
Andy – If you book in advance you can pick up some cheap flights to vegas. My friends paid £700 for a return from Glasgow to Vegas , the flight was direct and it included a weeks stay in Excalibur.
Zac – 5 hours isn't too bad. Its about 11 from the UK (if you can get a direct flight).

To echo what others are saying, I won't be there either. In my case it's because my family situation has changed and I'm not a full-time "Mr Mom" to my four kids.

It would definitely be awesome to attend. although I already have other plans in the fall and i think my family would kick my butt if I found another trip to go on.
In Sep I am flying to the states for three weeks. this is half personal/half business trip. I'll be going to NJ, AZ, GA, and NC. Then at the end of October I am planning an R&R trip to either Portugal or Spain..I'm still undecided. So as much as I would LOVE to go, I don't think I'll be able to make it.
However, if you're in Spain around that time, you'll have to let me know!
I totally understand why so many will not be able to make it. I'm using this expo as an excuse for a trip to Vegas haha.
I believe theres an exhibition in London at the end of September though, something worth considering for UK based bloggers
