Kevin Muldoon$200 Forum July referral competition winners

Written by Kevin Muldoon from System0 on August 1, 2007

Just a quick post to announce the winners of July’s referral competition :) The competition was pretty poorly received so in future I don’t think I will be doing a competition like this again (it’s sometimes trial and error with these things!).

The following people referred a few members and will be getting $50 sent to them via paypal (email me if you have won) :

cmanlong
shypys

Since $100 of last months competition wasn’t used, I will be adding a 2nd debate around August 15th with $100 in prize money :)

    congrats to the winners!

as for the competition (i can’t only barely remember reading the post so sorry if I remember wrong!) I believe it required getting friends to sign up for the forum? I don’t think it was well recieved because, well for me at least, I rarely do the “sign up a friend” thing. For one, none of my friends are into blogging (except for private journals) and for other services, it feels like I’m spending my friend spam. If I like something, I’ll probably mention it in my own email.

As for competitions I would enter… ones that you get to answer in comments is probably the best, and opinion based like your current one.
