I have no doubt that a good percentage of Blogging Tips readers found the blog because of a paid review on another site. In total I have so far paid for 8 reviews over a period of about 6 weeks and since I don’t plan on getting any more reviews for a while I thought it was as good a time as any to talk about my experience with this advertising medium.
Six of the paid reviews were through ReviewMe and 2 of the reviews were paid directly via Paypal. As you guys…
I haven’t spoke about guest authors for a while at Blogging Tips however it’s something which I hope plays a big part in the success of the blog.
Although I am happy to have guest authors write a one-off post, I am looking more towards authors who can commit to writing on a more regular basis. Currently, Mani from Daily SEO Blog is the first person to commit to this. Mani’s blog has been active since September 2006 and has recently moved to a new domain. So far he has contributed 7…
I decided a few days ago that I would start selling text link ads here a month or so before the blog gets a page rank. Whilst submitting the blog to Text Link Ads I was asked if i wanted to try the inLinks advertising method. This happens at Step 4 of adding a new site to TLA.

I strongly encourage all Wordpress users to upgrade to version 2.2.1 if you have not already done so. You might have to be pretty unlucky to get hacked but 15 minutes out of your day to do an upgrade is nothing compared to the time you would spend trying to…
I found out about the Adsense sharing plugin for wordpress about a month ago but I haven’t got round to posting about it until today. Basically, the plugin allows you to give a % of google adsense earnings of author’s articles to the author. You can set this right up to 100% if you want.
I installed it at the time but i didn’t test it out. Upon checking the website for documentation today i realised that the site was down. Thankfully a friend of Harley Quine continued the work and…
I read a post a month or so ago which suggested that removing the datestamp from blog posts was a good idea. I’ve not been able to locate this post so I’m unable to provide you all with a link however I do recall that one of the the author’s main reasons for removing the datestamp was so that blog posts do not become outdated.
You may have read some blogs encouraging you to remove the datestamp from your posts but I strongly discourage you to do this. If you have…
