I have no idea how you manage to find the time to post more than once a day! If you do though, I agree that one should always space them out - give us a chance to digest all that tasty content before filling us up with more!

Spacing them out also tells people that you don't live by the computer, whether or not you really do!

The scheduled posting feature of Wordpress can help with this as well.

I post once a day, but when I am going to post twice a day, I space my articles by 12hrs or so. usually I post 9am and 9pm my time. I think this is around 7am and 7pm US (central) time

I post once a day so spacing posts out does not really effect me.

If you post twice a day why don't you just post once every 12? this would give both posts maximum time at the top of your blog. Just an idea

Kevin, I agree with spacing the posts. We might have spent our time writing hard, thinking hard and rechecking hard, and when it goes unnoticed, we get a bit irritated. You have a good timing for posts. Though In my opinion, I'll make some changes to your blog posts timings. It would be better if you post your first post at 9am and the second at 2pm according to the UK timings. At least you have to give a 5 hours of time gap if you are posting two articles. Why I say so is it, the first article gets only 3 hours according to your intervals and the second post gets 22 hours. So I would change it to 5 hours and 20 hours respectively. This is just my opinion Kevin.

I couldn't agree more, I wrote a post about it actually, called "Why Blogging Frequently and Consistently Will Double Your Traffic", but you summarised it pretty well.

I agree 100% with spacing your posts out. I post at 12:30 PM EST and on days I post twice again at 7 PM EST.

Most days I only post once, but a few days a week I like to post twice.

I'm using a new "Clif Hanger" style to get more repeat visitors.
