I posted a few months ago about the trouble I had with PayPerPost. For whatever reason, I was not getting any emails from them so I was unable to verify my account. I don’t know if this was caused by my ISP in New Zealand but now that I’m back in the UK everything seems fine.
To make things sweeter I got an email today from PayPerPost entitled ‘Try PayPerPost on us!’.
Dear Kevin,
I have noticed that you created a PayPerPost Advertiser account but never deposited any funds to create an Opportunity and try the system. Maybe you were confused, maybe you had issues with our payment system (we have had our ups and downs with PayPal), or maybe your pizza showed up and you just plain forgot what you were doing. In any case we want you back!
I have deposited $100 in your account for you to try out the system.
Go now to http://www.payperpost.com.
You have 10 days to take advantage of this special deposit. You can use this money in the PayPerPost Marketplace or hand pick your bloggers through the PayPerPost Direct Blogger Directory. Give it a try and let me know what you think. My team and I are always here to help you if you have questions.
Warm Regards,
Karen Allen
Director of Customer Love
PayPerPost, Inc.
Did anyone else get this email?

It might just be the cynic in me but that almost seems like they’re trying to buy you off. Nice that they did it, but really only time will tell if it was more than an appeasement gesture.

I doubt that that email was tailored specifically to me (infact, my advertiser account is registered with my hotmail account). It’s a promotion that I believe has been sent to those who have registered as advertisers but have yet to fund their account.
Advertising companies do this kind of thing now and again.

It might be targeted a bit Kevin. Your blog is taking to the Internet by storm! It’s too bad Im not yet through the 90days to take on posts.

I actually got this same email, then I decided, ohh what the heck and tried it out… had about 10 people write up a review about me and it has definitely helped my rankings in various places. After that free $100 they gave, I couldnt stomach the thought of forking over my own $100, or more.

Unless the subject is “Notification of payment….” I delete it. just kidding. I get so many emails that I could have easily deleted it.
PPP Direct is something I am registered for, but never tried.

I didn’t get an email but I surely wish I did. It would have been really awesome.

I wasn’t aware of this PayPerPost deal, but it looks great. Let us know how it goes.

I’ve not had the email, but that’s possibly because I funded my account when I tried out the service a few months back.

I know bidvertiser gave me $20 twice not too long after I signed up as an advertiser.

I got the email as well. They are good like that. On another note, you should check out Postiecon. This is a free conference that is going to be held in Las Vegas in November and is going to be a great venue for people like you and me to learn how to make money with internet marketing. Check it out.

I have never tried Payperpost as both advertiser and publisher. My blog is not even 2 months so I can’t be a publisher and I don’t have the money to become an advertiser. But you are really lucky Kevin. $100 is surely going to get a good traffic to your blog. Just choose the best blogs out there. There are blogs with good traffic in which a review costs less than $75. Enjoy the money Kevin.
