Kevin MuldoonThe best John Chow Copycat site yet

Written by Kevin Muldoon from System0 on July 4, 2007

I came across a fantastic John Chow paradoy blog today thanks to Net Business Blog. The blog is called John Cow, a blog which posts about ‘The Miscellaneous Ramblings of Dot Com Moooguls’. The blog promises to help you ‘Make Mooney’ online. ;)

It’s just a piss take of John’s site but it is pretty funny so if you some time you should check it out.

This is definitely the best copycat blog around  I drop by the blog and everything (except content) is a template from the evil John Chow

I have to admit I’d be surprised if John puts up with this. He might take it with a pinch of salt but we’ll see…it’s extremely dodgy.

From the posts I’ve read John seems to have a good sense of humour so I don’t believe he would take offence at this blog. However, if he did so i fail to see what he can do about it.

The site is probably benefitting from a huge amount of traffic due to people mistyping John’s domain name!

Well worth a visit, and a laugh.

I love the concept! moooo! I wonder how long they can sustain it though - if it was me I’d get bored quickly.

I can think of some really funny mockery domain names after seeing this. The work they put into the mock site is really good too. It’s one thing to put the site up, but it’s another to take the time to post the same type of posts he posts.

They really put in their work over there, that’s for sure! And all of you here — make sure you join his make mooney online contest!! Go here –> http://www.johncow.com/get-your-free-milk-today

I actually think he spent more time getting everything just right than John Chow did putting his up!!

Best copybovine site I have seen since the 3rd Annual Nigerian Email Conference.

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to access the JohnCow site. Does anyone know if the rumor that he JC went ballistic about the parody site is true, or that the rumor that Tucows had it shut down has any truth to it?
