You may now use 3 Link Units per page through Google Adsense
Making Money JohnTP brought this to my attention today. Google have announced that you can now use 3 link units per page with Google Adsense. Previously, publishers were restricted to 1 link unit per page. I’m not sure why google have increased the number of link units but im not complaining! This should be good news to the majority of adsense publishers, particuarly those who have some spaces available in their ad areas. On the whole i personally find ...

Site News When i logged on today i quickly realised my server was down again. Unfortunately, my server is with Servstra – great support but a terrible amount of downtime. This has been the last straw and in a few weeks i will be moving to a different hosting company as they have lost me a lot of money with my sites being down in the past. Due to me travelling, i was not in a position to migrate the 70+ sites i have hosted on my server therefore it ...

Making Money One of the most common mistakes i see in blogs is unrelated advertisements in the sidebar or banner areas. This mistake is causing bloggers to lose out on thousands of dollars in commissions. The first thing you need to remember about affiliate marketing and making money on the web in general is that advertisements which are targeted perform infinitely better than ones which are not. What is an unrelated Advertisement? An unrelated advertisement ...

Continue readingReviewBack – Get your blog reviewed without paying for it
Promote your blog If you cannot afford a review from ReviewMe then Review Back may be useful to you. The boys from AdGridWork have came up with a system which im suprised hasn’t been done before now. In short, Review Back is a review exchange system whereby you write a review of another blog in exchange for a review of your blog on theirs. By browsing the bloggers listings you’ll see they have close to 100 blogs who have signed up to use them already. ...

Continue readingBlogging when you don’t have internet access
Blogging Time management is an important part of being a blogger. There are only so many hours in the day and sometimes other aspects of your life can eat into the time you set aside for blogging – heck, even checking the emails to your blog can take up a lot of your blogging time! If you are lucky enough to own a laptop then you are also lucky enough to be able to blog when you don’t have access to the internet. As time goes on internet ...

Blogging In the last two days i have seen the number of subscriber’s to BloggingTips drop from around 300 to 200. Day to day, the number of subscribers is gonna go up and down but i was a bit concerned with a drop of that amount. The confusing thing is that traffic has increased a lot in the last week. I check my stats semi regularly anyways but after seeing this drop i compared webalizer with google analytics and awstats. Traffic from google is ...
