The ‘No Follow’ Dilemma

The ‘No Follow’ Dilemma
16 Jun 2007

Blogging As regular Blogging Tips commentators know, i removed the no follow link from Blogging Tips 2 months ago. This means that page rank will be given to the blogs and websites of those who post a comment. As i stated before, i’m baffled why so many bloggers made a fuss about this as any page rank benefit from commentating will be pretty low and bloggers should be trying to raise their page rank via advertising and writing good posts. However, ...

13 Jun 2007

WordPress Themes One of my favourite wordpress themes has just been updated. Bosco 1.0 was a great theme which i still use on one of my other blogs. Ask Shane where he is

Ask Shane where he is
13 Jun 2007

Unfortunately, Shayne has not updated the blog since 30th April so i can only assume that the blog is joining an ever growing list of blogs which are just being dumped by their owners. It’s a bit of a shame as his posts were pretty good and he posted quite regularly too. Do you know of any good blogs which have not been updated in a while?

Can a press release help promote a blog?
12 Jun 2007

Promote your blog Have you ever considered using a online press release to promote your blog? I decided to give it a try. I don’t profess to be an expert in writing press releases, but I have learned a lot trying. One of the great things about a press release is that in effect you are advertising for free. Press releases are picked up by different websites all looking for news in relation to their subject area. Some of the press release distribution sites ...

For me the wordpress installation is a walk in the park however that’s because i have ...
