I wish I could really do it in 10 minutes like you said Kevin. This is the first time I'm gonna attempt an upgrade and I'm freaking scared. Have backed up my files, folder & database and it took me half a day to learn all those steps!

Now, the question is when to proceed with the next step! Lol.

I've just installed WordPress 2.2.1 on my blog, and everything went smoothly, but I'm a little bit disappointed that they don't yet seem to have opened up the API for the wp-core widgets.

I quite liked working with dynamic widgets through the presentation screen, but since I went to 2.2, I've had problems, and have had to change my sidebar layout again.

They should have made the wp-core widgets backwards compatible with the old widget plugin.
