I posted about BlogStorm a few days ago. In the last few days i have been using the site to check incoming links and i’m finding myself loving this site more and more each day. It really is an essential site for checking incoming links to your blog.
Yesterday, BlogStorm announced a wordpress plugin which allows you to add your blog’s incoming links graph to the dashboard area of your blogs admin panel. They claim to be adding additional plugins for the tracking service soon so i’ll do my best to keep you all updated.
All you need to do to install the plugin is upload one file and then activate it in your admin area. Once you have done this you will now see a graph of incoming links everytime you login to your blog. The graph is a bit large and will probably skew the width of your design a little however that isn’t a major hassle.
Below is a screenprint showing you how graph looks in your dashboard :

If you are a wordpress blogger and have been using BlogStorm the last few days then i strongly encourage you all to install the plugin.

Allow a few days for data to be collected
Just a quick note about BlogStorm. You should allow a few days for the data to your blog to be collected correctly (i’m not sure of the reason for this).
Here is a screen print of the BloggingTips tracker a few hours after installing it a few days ago and following that is a screen print of the graph that was displayed today.
As you can see from the above, the first graph did not show any incoming links on May 31st. I have double checked the incoming links via Technorati and i can’t see too many new links to indivudual posts since Friday so i can only assume that when i checked the graph the first time Blogstorm had not collected all of the data for BloggingTips.
If you want a nosy at BloggingTips incoming links please click here. You should also check out BlogStorm’s Tracker Page if you have time as it shows all the movers and shakers in the Blogosphere.
Thanks,
Kevin.
