Kevin MuldoonReviewBack – Get your blog reviewed without paying for it

If you cannot afford a review from ReviewMe then Review Back may be useful to you. The boys from AdGridWork have came up with a system which im suprised hasn’t been done before now.

In short, Review Back is a review exchange system whereby you write a review of another blog in exchange for a review of your blog on theirs. By browsing the bloggers listings you’ll see they have close to 100 blogs who have signed up to use them already. I can see this surpassing 1000 blogs within the next 2 months.

Clearly, Review Back are targeting the lower end of the Blogosphere however i really think this will prove to be a popular service on the whole as it’s such a simple concept and one which will fill a void that a lot of bloggers can’t afford to fill. If you are interested in this service i recommend reading Stephen Welton’s review of ReviewBack.

  1. Wow this seems like a great site! I to am amazed this has not been done already. oh well it’s here now :)

Sounds like a good idea to me too, I wish I’d thought of it ;)

Of course, if you don’t have the time or inclination to write your own review, you could always check out reviewyou.net and ask us to review your blog – for free.

We won’t guarantee anything but our honest opinions.

No reciprocal review required, although links are always appreciated. :)

jd – why would someone visit your site? if the only content you publish is reviews for blogs, i can see the only people visiting it are people who want to be reviewed. At least with reviewme, you can spread your brand across multiple blogs that have real visitors and not just fellow webmasters looking to pimp their site out.

  5. The viral effect on this program will be massive. It’s the social networking aspect that will launch this program very quickly into the hands of many bloggers.

    Thanks for the mention. . . .

    Hey Kevin -
Thanks for the awesome review and I think you nailed the point of service perfectly. We are really not geared towards a Reviewme replacement: clearly the Alist bloggers are not going to give up a significant portion of their income for a Review Co-op. Instead, we are trying to empower the smaller bloggers and less established sites and show them that if they collaborate, work hard to review and promote their content, then they too can drive a good deal of traffic to their sites. Our service is definitely not complete either. We have some new features and enhancements planned which we can hopefully get rolled out in the coming weeks. And if any of the bloggingtips readers have any comments or suggestions, Im all ears :)

Why am are posts with the hyperlink tag not going through? Is it that they have to be moderated first or something? I had the same problem on another blog a little while ago.

  8. Kevin says:

thanks for the feedback Nick – its good to see you guys discussing the site openly with everyone

shypys – unfortunately, bloggingtips (like most other blogs) gets a lot of spam so as well as using askismet i have set it so that any comment with more than 2 links is put into a moderation queue :)

  9. Thanks for another very useful tip. I have signed up. It think it will become popular. Hopefully new, good quality blogs will be encouraged to join.

  10. This seems like an awesome site with a simple “why didn’t I think of that” idea. I think it will surely grow with popularity quickly!

  11. Sourav says:
