Thats a nice compilation. Unfortunately i cant afford a domain name as of now, but I look forward to having some readers before getting a domain name and a host.

The point that I think you missed here is about ads:
Many "almost-professional" bloggers told me not to worry about ads in the beginning ...

Mr. Pavlina says that too, so it was a no-brainer for me.

What do you guys have to say about this?

Hi Tom,

You are absolutely right. If you can market your name as a brand - nothing like it. it's a different strategy though.

Glad you liked the points Goddess and Kumiko.

Cheers!

I'm happy with my domain name. My name does not say what my blog is about but then some of the best blogs online are people

my blog is only in the beginning stages, but I've been surprised how much these tips have helped in making readers stay (or come back). At the moment I don't get very many comments per post, however I have had several people subscribe to posts, which tells me that they will come back.

I totally agree with what you've written here. It took me too long to learn these points and probably even longer to implement them, but the results are worth it!
