Me a fellow Mallu, Mani Karthik!

You're an SEO expert, so tell me, doesn't Google and other SEs penalise the multiple copies of posts in WP blogs- in category, archive, post and single pages?

Is there a solution to this other than using content_excerpt function in template? Like, nofollow for archive and cat.pages? But then what should be done for index?

Also, why is mattcutts, problogger, blogging tips etc, not affected by this?
