im trying to find a happy medium with search engine optimisation. i have no issues with the full articles being displayed in feeds :)

i found the page about this on wordpress - can you specify after how many characters it puts the continue link - ie. i assume that you set a standard amount and then all posts are cut off at this level

You don&#039;t have to use the more tag, it depends on your theme create a category.php template and use the_Excerpt Function instead of the the_content function,  also in your index.php use the the_Excerpt Function. only in your single.php use the_content function that should solve your problem.</description>
