NetVibesI have tried several feed readers in the past few months. Googles feed reader was ok buti didnt take to it. I came across an article by Matt Coddington on NetBusinessBlog called ‘A Feed Reader That I Actually Like‘.

In the article matt recommends NetVibes - a web based feed reader. When i first gave it a try i thought that it was a pretty good website. However, after using it a few days im starting to think that its the most useful website i’ve found in the last few years.

I was on SitePoint today and i saw a request for a censor for wordpress that highlights rude/offensive words whilst the user is still writing the comment. Such add ons are available in the phpbb community apparently.

Wordpress is one of the easiest scripts to install on the web. However, if you have not worked with databases and php scripts before im sure some of it may be a little confusing.

I found a great guide to installing wordpress today from a guy called Dane Morgan. It was released 10 days ago and is available in a word document or in pdf format. I’m sure it will help newbies to blogging. Enjoy

Ever since blogging was catapluted onto the web there has been comparisons between blogs and forums. I believe that they cater to different needs of the web. Blog discussions are driven by the blogger(s) whilst forum discussions are driven by the members (although guided by forum admin). In the start forums struggle for activity due to lack of content and blogs struggle due to lack of comments.
