Buying a professional WordPress Theme from Template Monster

Posted by on 27th Mar 2007 WordPress Themes 3 comments

Template Monster have over a hundred professional designs available for around $50. On the whole these designs tend to be of a much higher quality than the free themes which are available online.

I have been looking at these templates the last few days, specifically for my new tech blog im lauching soon Electric Bandits. At the moment is using a pretty basic theme which i downloaded for free via wordpress.org. I know exactly the kind of design i want for the site longterm however to get that design will cost me close to $2000 (including forum design etc too). I dont have these funds at the moment so im considering getting one of these templates for the site in the meantime and whilst i can design websites, im not a fantastic designer and my time is much better spent writing articles and posts as i’ll never be able to design the professional layout i want this site to have.I considered just paying for a top design via my credit card but its a route i dont want to go down – i personally believe that if you dont have the funds you should wait til the site is making some cash til you splash out.

Here are the designs im considering. Let me know what you think.

Well, it's too late now but I do like the first one! But you're right, those paid-for themes really rock!

I remember when I was a blogging noob, there were barely any free theme sites or even premium theme sites, I was forced to buy one from template monster. I really wish I had my $60 back
