I had a days training in HTML a couple of weeks ago and am now working through an online course. The guy who trained me recommended Crimson Editor, I don't know how that compares to Typepad? What I really need is an editor which alerts you to your mistakes (as I am making lots of them), forgetting to close a tag etc, almost like a spell checker highlights spelling mistakes.
